Description
Two gulls head home toward Malibu and into the sunset after a day of forging for food.
The odd looking plant is not a giant asparagus (I wish) it is a Butterfly Agave.
This is not the Tequila Agave plant. Tequila is distilled from the Blue Agave plant.
Agaves are succulents with large thick, fleshy leaves with most species ending in a sharp terminal spine.
There are around 208 species of the Agave plant.
