I am a retired Information Technology Project Manager located in Santa Monica, California. I’ve loved photography and started taking photos in the late 1970s. With a full time, job, I had little time to enjoy my passion for photography. I will shoot anything (with Canon or Sony) that produces an emotional reaction. I'm self-taught and began to take my photography seriously in 2006. Retirement has given me an opportunity to follow my grandson and shoot photos of him playing basketball and having some of my photos published in sport magazines. Welcome to my gallery, enjoy my photos presented for your viewing pleasure and purchase. Thanks Gene “PapaG” Parks All images are copyright by Gene Parks. All The materials contained...

Marvin... thanks for your support. You are correct.. this is the Aero Theater at 13th and Montana.. still a vital part of the community.

Isn't this theater on Montana in Santa Monica Gene? I went to this theater when i owned and ran Santa Monica Printing Company on Wilshire and Berkley. My parents owned 2 PIP Instant printing franchises one on 14th and Wilshire and one on Centinela and Santa Moinica Blvd both in Santa Monica.. Sorry i got off the beaten path. This capture is AMAZING Gene. Love it!!! L.
