Artist's Description
Evening commuters merging into traffic on Pacific Coast Highway as pedestrians from Palisades Park use the newly constructed overpass to walk to the beach. The new overpass is part of the California Incline demolition and reconstruction project in Santa Monica. It was completed in September of 2016.

About Gene Parks
I am a retired Information Technology Project Manager located in Santa Monica, California. I’ve loved photography and started taking photos in the late 1970s. With a full time, job, I had little time to enjoy my passion for photography. I will shoot anything (with Canon or Sony) that produces an emotional reaction. I'm self-taught and began to take my photography seriously in 2006. Retirement has given me an opportunity to follow my grandson and shoot photos of him playing basketball and having some of my photos published in sport magazines.
