Artist's Description
The Cadillac Series 62 is a model produced by Cadillac from 1940 to 1964.
In 1955 a 331 cu in V8 with 259 horsepower powered the standard Series. In 1955, 140,777 units were sold, a new record high for Cadillac. The standard 4-door sedan cost $3,977 while the Sport Convertible Coupe was priced at $6,286.

Radio $135, Heating and ventilation system $129, Power brakes $48, Four-way adjustable power seat $70, Vertically adjustable power seat $54, Power windows $1O8, Air conditioning $620 and a 270 horsepower Eldorado engine was available as an optional "Power Package" in other models for $161 extra.
