Description
This is not the Tequila Agave plant. Tequila is distilled from the Blue Agave plant.
Agaves are succulents with large thick, fleshy leaves with most species ending in a sharp terminal spine. The one on the right is Butterfly Agave. It is fully mature and is seeding the next generation. The one in the foreground is an Agave Americana. There are around 208 species of the Agave plant.
