Bodie is a ghost town with approximately 170 building. It is located in the Bodie Hills in Mono County, California about 75 miles southeast of Lake Tahoe and 12 miles east-southeast of Bridgeport, California. Bodie was designated a ghost town in 1915 by The U.S. Department of the Interior.
Bodie is a Historic National Historic Landmark.
I am a retired Information Technology Project Manager located in Santa Monica, California. I’ve loved photography and started taking photos in the late 1970s. With a full time, job, I had little time to enjoy my passion for photography. I will shoot anything (with Canon or Sony) that produces an emotional reaction. I'm self-taught and began to take my photography seriously in 2006.
