As the sun drops below the horizon, the bay, sky and Santa Monica Mountains take on various hues of blues, violets and purples. The purple coloring is most noticeable on the distant Santa Monica Mountains.
I am a retired Information Technology Project Manager located in Santa Monica, California. I’ve loved photography and started taking photos in the late 1970s. With a full time, job, I had little time to enjoy my passion for photography. I will shoot anything (with Canon or Sony) that produces an emotional reaction.
