Evening commuters waiting for the green light on the California Incline during rush hour.
The California Incline provides access from Santa Monica atop the Palisades Bluffs to Pacific Coast Highway at beach level. The right lane north to Malibu and the left lane to Venice.
What you can’t see in this image is the long line of cars to the top of the grade.
