Description
We are viewing the skyline of Santa Monica from the Malibu Lagoon State Beach 11.5 miles away.
The Malibu Lagoon and Wetlands is a 31-acre shallow water estuary at the mouth of Malibu Creek where it flows into the Pacific Ocean. Here the creek pools up to form Malibu Lagoon with small islands and sandbar.
The Lagoon is home and seasonal stop over for 200 plus birds depending on the season.
