Description
Poppies as far as the eye can see... hills to valleys to the distant mountain ranges for miles and miles there are orange and gold poppies.
It’s wildflower season in Southern California. Vegetation and flora is exploding everywhere.
My favorite place to see Poppies is the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve in Lancaster, Califirnia. We had the best rainfall in over 10 years producing and this has produced a “Superbloom” of poppies (and weeds).
The area around the Poppy Reserve is covered with an orange carpet as far as the eye can see… hill tops and valleys.
I hope you enjoy this rare "Superbloom" of spring 2019.
Hope for a repeat next year.
