Description
This sunset over Santa Monica Bay showcases the amazing “Supperbloom” of flowers and vegetation following the heavy spring rain fall of 2019. The bluffs overlooking Santa Monica Bay are so beautiful this year.
Palisades Park is a 26-acre park in Santa Monica, California. The park is on a strip of land running along Ocean Avenue atop of the Palisades Buffs. It extends over 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from the Santa Monica Pier at its southern end to Adelaide Drive at its northern end. It is lined with more than 30 varieties of plants and trees, including eucalyptus, pine, palm, and fig trees.
The park includes benches, picnic areas, restrooms and the historic Santa Monica Camera Obscura.
The park offers a scenic view of the pier, beach, Santa Monica Mountains, Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and the Pacific Ocean.
The park is a favorite recreational destination for locals and visitors to Southern California.
